TORONTO Toronto Boat Show. Direct Energy Centre.Toronto Brigantine will need volunteers for the booth … and we look forward to seeing all TBI Friends and Alumni that might come by the booth to visit.

TORONTO Pirates Ball at the Steam Whistle.   At 10 pm, International Shipmasters Association will also announce the winner of their fundraising Raffle Draw, Grand Prize is 7 Day Freighter Trip for 2 Adults aboard MV Algoma Spirit.

St Lawrence, Great Lakes and Georgian Bay TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE Great Lakes 2013  These are the planned events for the Challenge. The TBI schedule still be be confirmed. Playfair and Pathfinder won’t be able to participate in all of these events unfortunately.

BROCKVILLE/KINGSTON Brockville and Kingston will be part of   a Great Lakes United Tall Ship Challenge featuring visiting Tall Ships.

TORONTO   The Redpath Waterfront Festival TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE Great Lakes 2013. Toronto is the   launch port and host of an international fleet of Tall Ships. Some visiting   ships include: Blue Nose II,   Pride of Baltimore, Lord Nelson (War of 1812), Gotheborg   (Swedish Ship), Tarangini   (from India) among other. The Redpath Waterfront Festival will include   activities for families and kids of all ages and interests including Tall   Ship deck tours, live entertainment, immersion theatre, a Parade of Sail and   more! General Admission is Free. Ship boarding passes will go on sale in May   2013. See updates at TOwaterfrontfest.com.

Jun 20-23

COLLINGWOOD   TS Playfair will be   able to participate in the 125th Anniversary of the Georgian Bay Cup race in   Collingwood. The Georgian Bay Cup   Race was initiated in 1888 by Jim Playfair, the brother of Stuart   Playfair who was one of Toronto Brigantine’s founding contributors with Jim   Lorriman and others.


MORRISBURG   ON Battle of Crysler’s   Farm events include Encampments, Battle Re-enactments and Heritage Artisans   in celebration of 200th anniversary on Nov 11, 2013.

Sackets   Harbor NY a cross-border observance on April 27th anniversary of   the Battle of York (Toronto); and rededication of the Sackets Harbor   Battlefield War of 1812 Centennial Monument on May 29 anniversary of the 2nd   Battle of Sackets Harbor.  Sackets Harbor Battlefield   Alliance
