The Boats are Berthed at Marina Quay West

Thanks to the generosity of Harbourfront Centre,  Toronto Brigantine is able to berth our boats at Marina Quay West – whenever they are booked for shoulder season and summer season sail training programs.  Our workshop is in the parking garage right next door!

Click here for a picture of the Toronto Inner Harbour, taken by a crew member of the schooner, Susan B,  in Jun 2009.  The Brigantine’s are down at the base of the CN Tower next to the Empire Sandy.

Click here to compare Susan’s picture with a picture of a Tall Ships gathering in Toronto in 1980, with CN Tower in the background but before the Skydome.   This picture was posted on Flickr by bigbearbard, Jul 2006

The following  pictures were taken by Toronto Brigantine’s friend and harbourfront neighbor, Jim Orgill, just this last weekend, April 3rd, 2010.

Here are the STV Pathfinder and the TS Playfair docked side by side, and shows the CN Tower in the background.

Jim took another picture of the boats, a bit of a close up. You can see that the boats are still  in the midst of being put back together after all the bits were being worked on during the winter.

And then here is another picture that Jim took of the boats head on. Love the reflection in the water.

For more information about our Summer Youth Sail Traiining Programming, please contact Toronto Brigantine office.

We look forward to seeing you when you are next on the harbourfront.
